IANR . . . Providing access via distance to a University of Nebraska
education . . .
A solid university curriculum. Distance education
courses offered through IANR's
College
of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources and
College
of Human Resources & Family Sciences are developed and
taught by the same UNL faculty members teaching in "traditional"
UNL classrooms. The credits you can earn from your home office
are the same credits you would earn on campus.
Who has time? Thanks to the Institute's distance
education program, now you do! Our courses are designed for access
any time of the day or night. You set your schedule. We'll be
here!
A stronger workforce. Agribusiness and organizational
employees can take advantage of professional development opportunities
that don't require time out of the field or office. CASNR's new
Master of Agriculture degree
via distance is geared toward just such a professional.
Knowledge is power. IANR's distance education
students have on-line access to the University of Nebraska Library
system of more than 2.5 million print volumes, over 4.0 million
microform volumes, more than 11,500 current serial subscriptions,
as well as numerous on-line research databases. The University
Libraries include Don L. Love Memorial Library and nine branch
libraries.
UNL proud. Degree or credit certificate students
are also eligible for membership in the UNL Alumni Association.
